Beginning a project is often a balance of possibility and uncertainty. This short conversation introduces the pathway ahead, offering clarity, confidence, and a structured direction — whether the project is at its earliest stages or already developing a defined brief.

The booking calendar below can be used to arrange a convenient time for the conversation. Once scheduled, a confirmation email is provided with a Microsoft Teams link and an optional short questionnaire to inform the discussion.
What to Expect
The Discovery Call is a relaxed, structured conversation that seeks to understand aims, constraints, and priorities. It begins with an exploration of the project’s context — intended outcomes, challenges, early ideas, and any initial assumptions about scope.
From there, the discussion moves toward possibility: how value can be created, how the project might evolve, and which pathway offers the most effective route forward. The conversation concludes with a clear indication of next steps, whether through a Design Partnership, a focused Design Sprint, or a tailored Design Advisory study.
How to Prepare
Nothing formal is required in advance. Many clients find it helpful to reflect briefly on their intentions, what matters most, and any areas where clarity would be valuable.
If drawings, photographs, or early references already exist, they can be shared, though they are not essential. The purpose of the call is simply to understand the starting point and outline a confident and structured way forward.
Practical Details
The call lasts approximately thirty minutes and is hosted on Microsoft Teams. A short visual overview is shared during the conversation, so video is preferred where suitable.
The confirmation email includes the Teams link, joining instructions, and the optional pre-call questionnaire. If any difficulty arises when joining, a phone call can be arranged immediately so that no time is lost.
After the Call
A concise summary of the recommended pathway is provided following the conversation, together with an outline of next steps. Where appropriate, a proposal, advisory scope, or service outline may be issued to support clarity regarding structure, timelines, and investment.
The intention is to ensure that every project begins with a clear understanding of direction before any commitment is made.
